Last Game for Fall Ball

Tonight we played the final game of the Fall Season. It was a tourn. game against the #1 team. We may have lost but it was a great game. The south players scored 5 runs in the first inning. This was a great start to a great game. The girls ended up losing 14 to 9. Congrats to all the ball players you did great.

Last season game

Today was the last season game against the Mountain Park Bulldogs today. This was our make up for Tuesday nights rain out. The team was two players short and one coach but, we had a great game. The girls really put forth a great effort and scored 11 runs against the Bulldogs. We lost 16-11 but this was the closest game we have had against them. CONGRATS to all the girls great job.

Sat. Oct. 20, 2007 Game

We played one of the top teams in the league today. It was a tough game. The girls tried really hard but we ended up losing 10-1. The game ball went to Hannah for some great fielding. Other great stops were made by Courtney, Elise, Sydney, Sara, Makilia, and Smiley. Some great hitting was done by Danielle, August, Jessica, and Alora.
We have one more season game on Tuesday. Our team party is Monday night at 7pm home field. See you there.

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 Game

Tough game tonight. Some of the south girls were a bit under the weather. But overall the girls did pretty well. Some great plays were made and some wonderful hits. The game ball went to Jessica for several outstanding plays in right field. Congrats Jessica. Three more games till the end of the season.

South Thursday Night Game

What a game. The girls took on the number one team tonigth. The Mountain Park Hurricanes have yet to loose a game but the South Navy team did a great job holding them to a four run lead. Mountain Park 14 South 11. The girls put up a great fight. The game ball went to Mikaela. Great Job girls.

Tuesday Night vs. The Bandits

What a game. After the rain stopped we got to play. It was a nice cool night and all the girls were present. One injury kept our other second baseperson on the bench, but the rest were ready to go. We came out pretty slow but in the end we did it 13-7 (I think). The game ball went to "Smiley" our first base person who also hit in the winning run to end the game. Great job girls. See you Thursday.

South at Mountain Park Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007

The girls had a fantastic first inning scoring 5 runs. The Mountain Park team played a great game and ended up winning the game. The game ball went to Danielle who had a great game, hitting off the pitch several times, fielding, and just overall great game.

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 What a Game

What a great job the girls did tonight. They played a great game and played well from start to finish. South Navy 9 and Shiloh Tunder 8. Sara did a great job on defense as well as offense and received the Game Ball for her efforts. Great Job.
Over all record 3 Wins, 2 losses, and 1 tie.

Saturday, Sept. 30, 2007

What a game. The girls had the best first inning I have seen all year. Great job. Final score 9-6 South with the win. Everyone did great. Jessica did a great job of backing up third, Alora stopped the best hitter in the league from getting a homerun, Sara hit well, Danielle had a great hit, Elise played great at circle, Courtney stopped everything at third base, Hannah made some great plays at short second, Smiley played a great first base, Mikaela played great at shortstop, and Sydney played a great second base. Congrats to all of the South Navy team.

Tuesday Night's Game

Another tough game tonight. Mountain Park Bulldogs played well and we gave them a run. We scored late in the game but we came back from a 11-0 to 19 to 8 game. The girls played a good game. Great on the defense were several players Danielle had several great plays, Jessica made some outstanding plays, and August as well. Tonights game ball went to August for several great plays and bats. All the girls had fun and played well.

Friday night game

The girls played a hard fought game on Friday. They picked up their play in the 3rd inner to score some runs, but we were to late. Mountain Park 11 South Navy 6. Even though we lost we had some great plays. Tonights game ball went to Sydney R for her great plays at second base. Great effort girls see you Monday for some batting practice.

Directions to Mtn. Park

From South Gwinnett Field:Take 78 toward Stone Mountain
Turn Right on Lake Lucerne Rd. (Just past Yellow River Game Ranch)
Follow this road until it dead ends into Five Forks
Turn left on Five Forks and the park will be about 1/2 mile on the left.

TUESDAY NIGHT'S GAME

We ended up in a tie. Which is not bad since we were down 5-1 at the end of the first inning. The final score was 6-6. Great job girls. We will see you Friday night. The game ball went to Elise for her great plays at circle and her speed in catching several runners off guard. Great job girls.

Softball game

Due to rain we did not have practice tonight. So I just wanted to remind you that the girls have tickets to the Loganville Middle Softball game Friday at 4:30pm @ West Walton Park. This is an opportunity to see some older girls play. If you go tell the gate worker your with Coach June and they will let you in. You parents are free to come as well. The gate pass is for them as well.

First team listed is the HOME TEAM for the Game. Parents the coaches would like you to volunteer for a game to be the snack parent. Please have a snack and drink box or sometype of drink for the girls after the game. The coaches will give you a day or we will have a sign up sheet at the next practice. Coach June will bring the water cooler to each game so if a player forgets theirs or runs out they will have H20 to drink.
