My schedule is a bit crazy and may not be able to return calls during the days. As well as I may not have access to my email till I get out of work either. Please call the rain hotline if you can not reach me. I will post as soon as I know something.

Tuesday Nights Game

Six players showed up at Tuesday night's game.
We did have to forfeit

But we played for fun anyway.

Game High lights

1. Gabby got her first hit off a pitch
2. Amber played outstanding at first base
3. Shay played great at second base
4. Kiki relieved Sydney at the circle position after Syd got hit with a linedrive and Kiki did a great job taking over
5. Alana played several positions and did great, Second base, short, and some outfield
6. Sydney hit very well driving in a few runs

Over all great game

Not sure what to say. We will not be playing till the weather clears up.

I will work with SGAA to set up make up games.. At this time I can't tell you when that will be.

I will see what we can do to reschedule both rain outs.....

The fields will be to wet for practice Monday so we will meet for the game Tuesday and hope that the weather has cleared

Saturday Game

We play Brookwood at 10am 9/19/09
SGAA Field 1 our home field
Arrive at the field at between 915 and latest 930

We also play Sunday 9/20/09 at Mountain Park

I am praying that the field will be dry in the morning for our game. Tonight the infield still was pretty wet.

Practice canceled tonight

due to the fields being extremely wet and rain in the forecast we will not have practice tonight. We do have a game Saturday and SUnday.
Please arrive at SGAA field 1 at 915 for the game Saturday

Rained out tonight

We got rained out tonight but I am working with SGAA to reschedule the game for another night.

If you do not know the number to call for rain outs. To find out if the games are canceled you can locate that on the SGAA web site. I do get an email but Tuesdays I work 7-4, pick up my kids and they have Karate till 6, or 545 when we have a game. I will try and call everyone but I may just email eveyone in one lump email.

Thanks for the understanding.

Practice Friday at 630 and game Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

What an opening Game They did great

Final score 14-22 Mountain Park winning but South not making it easy.

Game Highlights

1. Two players went 4 for 4 (Kiki and Sydney)


2. Almost everyone got on base (fantastic)


3. Sofia made a great play at second base tagging out a runner


4. Abbie and Gabby both did a good job chasing down outfield balls and getting them in to 2nd


5. Nicole did a great job at third base stopping several balls


6. Our two circle players did a great job Kiki and Sydney


7. Shay did a great job at Second


8. Amber did great at first and third with an awesome play at homeplate


9. Isabella had a hit in the 5th inner which got us on a scoring drive of 4 runs way to go


10. Alana had a hit in the 5th and did some great fielding in center field

FIRST GAME

Today the South Gwinnett PEE WEEs head out to Mountain Park for their first game of the season. Shirts are in so we are ready. The parent support and vol.s are fantastic.

The girls are excited and ready to play. What an AWESOME group of girls
