Practice cancelled tonight due to rain

Just got off work and found out it is raining. Practice is cancelled due to the fields being closed and it is raining. I will personally call everyone with what time to meet for Saturday's game at Lenora park

Saturday Game

6-13 Mountain Park won.

We had some awesome plays:

Kennedy played well at second base
Morgan played great in the outfield
Faith did a great job out in right field after being at second base
Celeste played great in left center stopped one ball that came out
Madison played a little first base and made a few awesome catches there.
Danielle stopped some grounders
Ania had an awesome first hit to start the game
Sydney made a great catch at home plate (pop up)
Emily F. Made a great throw in from the outfield
Zaria Backed up third base well
Kailyn Played well at short stop
Emily H Played great in the outfield (moved on every hit)
Taylor Played well at the second base center position

Overall great game... We will be working on some hitting Thursday night and what to do at certain positions......

Also, with 13 girls no one player from now on will sit out more then one inning a game.

ps. I am a terrible speller so let me know if I spelled anyones names incorrectly.. I am praying I spelled Syd's name right...

Big Day Saturday

Parade Saturday Morning 945 meet coach Dave at Norton Elementary School Full uniform...

Then at 130 pm Meet Coach Dave, Coach Steve, and Coach Chip at field 4 to play the Shiloh Storm.....

Team Moms Ms. Kim and Ms. Ginger will take care of the girls in the dugouts and supply the snack after the game.

We will need two volunteers to help keep score and run the clock... Just let Coach Dave know.

Team Pictures I believe are Sunday I do not have a time yet. I am waiting on information to be handed out. Just keep in mind full uniforms for photos...

Friday Practice

First off. What a fantastic practice tonight. You should all be really proud of how well they did. The coaches can see the improvement in each of the girls having been working on drills for the first two weeks.

Friday (tomorrow) at 6pm we will meet at the batting cages on the other side of the softball field. If you can not make it I do understand since this was a last minute decision. I just think the girls need a bit more batting practice.

I am also thinking I will have uniforms to hand out. If I do not then I will check with Chris and make sure we can have them by the parade on Saturday. (945am) meet at Norton Elementary (coach Dave is in charge) Take lots of photos for me. I will be thinking about you while up in Jackson. I know they will all play a great game on Sat. Be at field 4 at 130pm...

Practice cancelled tonight due to fog

As I was leaving track practice (held inside) due to fog and water on the track I realized I could not see more then 10 feet in front of me. So I am cancelling practice till Monday for safety reasons.

Lenora fundraisers will be given out on Thursday (coke fundraiser).. I have done these at school and they are great money makers as well as I like diet coke.

AWESOME Practice tonight

Great practice tonight. Full house with lots of drills going on. Great parental help. Great ball players... I look forward to Thursday nights practice.

Thursday night practice is from 7-815 pm
(we will practice at this time every Thursday so the 6U can have the field at 6pm

Thursday Practice

It was a cold one tonight but we had a great turn out. We worked on some throwing, fielding, and practiced hitting using a T for fundamentals in batting.

Next Practice Monday night at 6pm.
We will be working on catching
running, and hitting.

Frist Practice

The First Practice was a great success..
All the girls did great.
I can't wait till Thursday provided it does not rain.
