Sunday's game

Tough loss last night. Practice tonight at 6pm.
Even though we have lost the last few games the improvement I see in our girls is great. This was very evident in last nights game when the other team pitched to us. Our girls did the right thing and only swung at the good pitches were as the other team swung at all 5 of Sydney's pitches.

So hats off to our girls learning how to play the game.

As of 648 am the web site still has us playing. I am off to the track meet. So I will not be able to post again.

Please call their rain out number 678-264-0810 (Mountain Park's number) to see when (if) the game is cancelled. Sorry I will not be able to do it today....

Great Game Great Win

The Lady Yankees took on Brookwood today at 1130 am. Talk about a game. Several awesome hits to the outfield, Faith had the winning hit that knocked Sydney in for the winning run. Great job.

Awesome Game Friday Night

The girls played a great game this evening.

Game Saturday at 1130 please be at the park at 11am for warm ups. Also if you purchased any coke products I will be picking them up tomorrow and have them at game time..

Monday Nights practice we will focus on fielding.. Our hitting looks pretty good... need to work some on when and where to throw the ball.....

April 1, 2010 Game

With the girls ready for spring break it took them a while to get into the game, but when they played they did great. As most of you saw there was a lot of great hitting, running, and some great plays in the field.

Coach Dave will have practice on Monday at 6pm for anyone who is not going out of town for spring break. Syd and I will be in Florida but we are taking our gloves and bats with us to practice.. I suggest anyone who can practice over the break.

First official practice after spring break is Monday, April 12, 2010 at 6pm at Lenora park..

Also, I am placing the T-shirt order tomorrow morning. If you have ordered please pay on the Monday of our first practice (if you have not already). If you still want to order please text me by 11am tomorrow....
