Softball 2011 Spring
We are off to a good start for spring softball.
Practice schedule is:
Mondays 6pm-730pm
Thursdays 6pm-730 pm
Saturdays 330-5pm
First Game is March 19th as well as the parade. More information to come as I get it.
Please send your child with a water bottle to practice.
This blog allows me to attach 10 people to get notices about posts. So one space per family.

Uniform Try ons
Tomorrow from 5-7pm is uniform try ons at Lenora Park for the up coming season. If you are not there I will order what ever you put on your forms. If you can't be there and you know what size please email me or call me.

6-8 pm at Lenora Park across from concessions.
You will get a practice schedule there if you are on my team. Other teams will be present as well for some conditioning.
Assistant coaches you need to fill out an application and bring a copy of DL

Bring:
sneakers, cleats, sweatshirt, gloves, bats. etc
Bring a water bottle
We will be doing some conditioning for all softball players
On my team or not. If you play for shiloh you are welcome to come.
Start now so you are ready to play ball March 19th Opening day.

Sign up for Spring Ball
Sign ups for Spring softball are going on now.
Come down to Lenora Park Saturday to sign up or sign up on line.
Practice (conditioning starts for 10U) Febuary 7, 2011. Monday Night from 6-745 Conditioning.. As of right now we will meet in the room across from the concessions stand unless it is warm enough outside.
We will be playing ball on Field 1.
If you receive this and are not playing ball or not on my team I will be glad to take your email off my list. I have not been given a roster yet.

Lots of hitting tonight
As most of you know we spend a great deal of time hitting tonight. I saw some good things and some good bunts.

Practice Monday
Evening Folks,
Team Photos went well today. We did miss the two or three that did not make it.
Practice is at 6pm Monday. We are going to focus on hitting, hitting, and more hitting:
I also want to thank the parent volunteers who help out at practice.
If you can not make a game or practice please call or email me. If I know you will not make a game it helps when I am trying to schedule 14 players for 10 positions with only one inning sit out in a row.

- Soft toss
- Basketball drill
- pitched
- hip drives

The girls played well last night. We will be working on hitting Monday night at practice. Once we get their timing down, speed up their bats, and work more on bunting. The first two innings tonight will be history. Once they started getting on we had some really good steals.
The play in the field was pretty good.
We play again at 9am Mountain Park. The girls have improved a lot and they will all be ready for Spring season.. He we come Tri-County.
Pictures are at 1230 at Lenora on Sunday. Full uniforms please..
