I love the girls never give up attitude this season. They are now 3-0 Wonderful start to the season.
So many good things to say about tonight where to start:
Madison's awesome hit
Olivia's game winning hit
Danielle's stop in the outfield saving a run
Amber also made a game stopping outfield play
Shayla had some great swings at the plate.
The three pitchers did an outstanding job (Polk, Johnson, Lee)
The infield did not let much by (Aaliyah, Lauren, Syd at home plate)
Brittany's hit and steals on the bases
This is a team victory and every player on the team made it happen tonight.

I know some people are going away but I would still like to have practice since we keep getting rained out.
Monday Night at 5pm and Thursday at 5pm as well. this will give us a little extra time to practice and work on some skills.

Because we still have to turn in the Funds for the Coke Fundraiser, I would like to meet at Lenora Park's Concession Stand to collect the Funds today (Monday, March 28, 2011 at 6:30 PM). Some batting stats
Johnson batting 4 for 4
Olivia batting 3 for 4
Sydney batting 3 for 4 (but this one costs me money)
Laruen batting 2 for 4
Danielle batting 2 for 3 (4th was a base due to being hit)
These are the batting stats for the first two games for those whose averages are over 500.
Highlights for todays game:
Courtney pitched 2 good innings
Danielle has a solid single in the 2nd
Aaliyah played an outstanding 1st base
Madison had a good hit in the 1st
Shayla played well in the outfield
Amber played well in the outfield
Brittany played well at second base in the 1st inning before going to the outfield.
Johnson had a awesome homerun
Lauren had a solid hit in the final inning setting up one of the runs that caught us up
Olivia went two for two on hits
Sydney stole home base for the winning run
This was truly a team effort.

Considering we were a bit lazy in the field, my pitching stunk, and the girls forgot to listen to the coaches. We did pull it out. Which shows what these girls really can do.
